Hi everyone I am hopig someone can help me find a site that shows the actual amount of scholarships that a school funds for their atheletic scholarships. Here's an example our D's top choice is only funded for 6.5 scholarships out of a possible 14.9(women's soccer) according to NCAA rules. (the coach told us after we asked). Does anyone know where this info could be found without asking coaches Thanks joekel

Just asked a similar question on the other thread. Is a full scholarship considered to room & board and tuition? Or just tuition? And is there data on how this money is distributed each year, eg. that the 6.5 scholarships are distributed out into 2 full and 10 partial awards ranging from $X to $Y?

Division I soccer is actually 12 scholarships for women, 9.9 for men.
Division II soccer is 9.9 for women, 9 for men.

I doubt any school publishes their budget plans for scholarships, but that is only my opinion. We have found if you ask the question the coach will give the number. If there is a limit of 12 scholarships (or whatever the NCAA allows for specific sport/gender) they can offer up to that number or if the budget for the individual school says they are only budgeted for 8 scholarships that is what they will offer. They can split 1 scholarship to more than one person. Athlete ‘A’ gets 60% and athlete ‘B’ gets 40% which would be 100% of a (1) scholarship. Depending on the sport it will be broken into much smaller increments than this; it all depends.

Depending on NCAA Dl, ll and lll and JC’s it all depends. Some D1’s that we have talked to offer tution/room&board/books, some just tuition; it depends. Some JC’s, Dl’s we have talked to can offer tuition, room&board and books if they are budgeted that way or only tuition. Some JC Dll’s we have talked to are only allowed tuition and maybe books, I am pretty sure no room board. Again, all depends on the individual school budget and of course what they are allowed to do regarding NCAA and NJCAA rules.
