<p>You can major in anything as long as you can pass the exams.</p>
<p>Most common: actuarial science, math, statistics
Less common: finance, maybe econ, some others</p>
<p>Your best bet is one of the top three as you learn a lot of what you need to know for the exams while also getting a degree.</p>
<p>Insurance is a rare major but it also uses actuary work.</p>
