<p>I imagine some of you have bought your boots and low quarters for this summer. Does anyone know how to clean these boots? I am afraid to try something that may ruin the boots.</p>
<p>You buy a cleaning kit that's made specifically for Desert Boots. The cleaning products are made of Kiwi. You can get them at a PX, AAEFES, or probably at US Cav.</p>
<p>2 pairs of no name brand ACU Hot Weather issue boots arrived in the mail today...
Instructions for cleaning read as follows:
"Brush with a stiff nylon bristle brush to clean and then use warm water. Do not use soap to clean the boots. If additional more stringent cleaning is necessary, only water soluble products should be used as oil or alcohol based products may destroy your boots."
The cleaning kit sounds like a great idea.</p>
