Addicted?

What I did to stop was break my iPod, since a laptop isn’t practical when your head’s on the pillow at 2 A.M. Haven’t been on much in the 6 months since that.

I guess being accepted to college contributed to that distance from CC too. Still, HSL has it’s interesting topics and I have a new handheld device to siphon wifi, so it could mean more time here : ).

There are also tons of people who are satisfied with a 2.1 and a perfectly mediocre life. Those people just want to do better but they’re just not sure if they can. After all, we’re all here because we’re looking for help and advice.

I don’t think the mediocrity level of your life has much to do with your high school GPA.

I was just listing things that people can get content with, not saying that life quality and gpa are related

oh… ok… anyways… how do i get off this?

@halogen your comment made me **** bricks of laughter

hahaha @mockingjay and @halogen

I’m so addicted, it’s rough. I find myself constantly reading threads some which I’m not involved in at all. Sometimes I just read and not post. I am addicted to looking at colleges, admission process. Sure, it’s stressful and chaotic, but it’s nice to see what the future might hold. I also like reading about everyone going crazy over schools that I would never go to (Ivy League, US News, etc) some of these people are crazy, but I don’t know it’s all oddly intriguing. Also, because my mom like doesn’t know a lot about some of this stuff like some parents on here do and I just laugh.

You’re probably reading other people’s success stories and ambitions etc in order to experience their achievements vicariously.

I don’t think so at all @Issac I don’t want that for myself. It’s just not for me, but I like hearing how happy other people are.
