Addition to Common App; Too Late

I completed my common application and sent it to a college I'm applying to ED, but still have many colleges to which I plan on applying. Recently I was elected President of my school's gay-straight alliance club, but the common app won't let me make any changes because I have submitted it to an institution already. Does anyone have any advice concerning what I could do about this? I think it's an achievement that adcoms would be interested to know about, but I can't figure out what to do.
Thank you in advance.

You should communicate this to your ED school in writing, either by email or fax or letter. If you know your adcom’s email that’s the easiest way to handle it.

Then you should create a new version of your common app before submitting to other schools and add the information to the new version. See this thread for instructions: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/common-application/1031416-how-many-versions-can-we-create-common-app.html

Thank you very much!
