Multiple Common App versions - anyone done this?

I am applying as a transfer but the dates for the application submission are different for all my schools.

I want to submit the app to one of my schools tonight; and then submit the app later to my other schools (with slightly modified essays etc...).

Has anyone done this? How do I go about doing this?

Thank you in advance.

There are several posts about creating a new version of the Common App, for example:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/common-application/1261768-new-version-commonapp.html?highlight=common+app+versions

Usually it’s done to update the application with additional/new information, or make corrections/changes after it has been submitted. The idea behind the “common” app is not to make a different version for each school; the school’s supplement is where you typically customize it for a specific school.

But if you want to make a new version after you’ve submitted it, you can.
