Additional recommendation Common App

Do additional recommendations have the same format for every school? For example, can you use the same letter and information for Harvard, Yale, Northwestern, etc.?

Also, would it be bad if my recommender couldn't write well in English? Should my recommender have his letter translated or just write his own in English, even if he couldn't be as descriptive as an English writer?

Lastly, if he had his letter translated, should he submit his own language's letter and the translated version together?

Thanks!

1st: yes. as long as you submit recommendation from someone relevant.
2nd: I think you should ask your recommender to write in the language he is comfortable in. Sloppy english won’t matter, but I don’t think your recommender will be able to express what he thinks properly if he doesn’t know good english.
3rd: Yes

thanks for the reply but I have another question

I know it depends on the school, but do colleges generally accept recommendation letters (from additional recommenders, not teachers) after the student submits his application on the Common App?

I don’t think my recommender will submit his letters before I submit my apps
