<p>I'm looking to get into Computer Engineering or Computer Science</p>
<p>So far on my list are:</p>
<p>University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign (In state, first choice)
Georgia Institute of Technology
Carnegie Mellon University
MIT (reach but no harm in applying)</p>
<p>I would prefer to stay out of the West Coast, any more suggestions?</p>
<p>RPI, Rochester U, RIT, WPI, Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia, Purdue</p>
<p>Excluding MIT, are the schools you listed on of the same quality as the ones I listed?</p>
<p>Same or a little higher: Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia
Slightly lower: Rochester, RPI, WPI, Purdue
Lower: RIT</p>
<p>Any more suggestions? Also it's helpful when they are ranked like that. (higher, match, lower, etc.)</p>
<p>Higher: Harvey Mudd and CalTech</p>
<p>Slightly Lower: Case Western</p>
<p>Same or a bit lower: Rose-Hulman</p>
<p>You should also consider Rice.</p>
