I was curious how people are “good students.” I noticed last year that I wasn’t focused as much as I had been in the past. I have ADHD (without medication) and in previous years I wasn’t a huge deal. Maybe it’s because the actual classes are getting more difficult, but I’m unsure. What things should I do to be more productive? What am I doing wrong?
Is there a reason you don’t want to do meds?
Not really… maybe side affects. But I wouldn’t know where to start
Yes, it could very well be that you need to try new methods now as the work gets harder. Try working in short bursts with breaks in between. Make sure you are only working on only one task at a time with no distractions. Also try structuring your time with a schedule. If you know what you should be doing each hour of the day, you might do better at staying on task.
