Adivice For Cr

Hey... I recently took two practice test, and uniamously, my critical reading score has been pretty bad (630). I got all of the sentence compeltions correct, but I got 20ish passage questions wrong. Does anyone have any advice/techniques on how to improve paragraph-responce questions...

Ahh.. I also have problems with that, so I'm interested in what others have to say about it. Also, does anyone have any suggestions as to do for "inferring" questions? I can't think of an example off the top of my head right now, but they're common questions for short passages. Thanks!!

You're saying your 630 is bad? I recently got a 350 on a practice test. Luckily it was only PRACTICE!!! All I can say is READE READ READ and learn more VOCAB.

don't listen to the b.s. about skimming/reading the questions before the passage. Read the passage...take your time with it. Understand it. At first you may run out of time, but I promise if you practice your reading your speed will pick up. Get in the habit of reading the passage though... it will put you in a much better position to attack the questions... especially those notorious inferences that KRabble mentioned

While your reading take notes on the side of each paragraph, it'll help you save time for harder questions, and easier to find answers.

Twinki, what type of notes do you mean? I'm afraid that might just sidetrack me even more, and time is a factor for me :(
