Adjusting

ummm

berkeley guarantees housing for transfers...

I just looked into it...wow. If I ever got in...i'd head straight to applying for the single room suite :)

Btw, what is considered to be an "upper division" student? Are junior transfers upper div students?

yes juniors are considered upper div.

and dhl3's plan is sounding great right now XD

No, it's not hard making friends at all. I've met more people in a month than I met in an entire year at my old school.

It's just coping with not having a "group" when so many people here (and i'm sure at other schools) are into being in cliques. But come to think of it, I like not having the safety of going out with the same group over and over, because it's made me make more of an effort to hang out with different people every weekend. I guess eventually I'll find a group in which I feel most comfortable, but it's just taking time.

didn't mean to scare anyone with the thread. Must have been stressed at the time. I've actually gone out more here and with different types of people than I did at my old school. Every transfer I've met says you adjust in a semester, I just knew alot of peeps at my old school and its...different. -don't worry about adjusting kids, it doesn't suck THAT bad

marauder, good of you to come back with the update.

no sweat. later doods, I don't need cc for emotional support anymore. cuz really that's what it does. although we can trade information around, nobody REALLY knows that much more than anybody else. It was good to be around people going through the same shiite of transferring. anyways peace out.
p.s. I go to vandy now. chea!
