Adjustment to UVM for a small, private school kid

My D is graduating from an small private school where she’s enjoyed the small classes and Harkness (discussion-oriented) teaching method. She’s been accepted at UVM, Dickinson, Denison, Gettysburg, and Hobart-Wm Smith. I think UVM might be a nice change for her, especially if it’s lower pressure than other LACs. Any thoughts on whether the adjustment to a bigger public school presents an issue?

Also, she wants liberal arts but likes film and photography. How are those programs at UVM?

we just toured UVM and were told that the photography studio is getting a major upgrade, Vermont is building a STEM complex and the benefits of the new space will cascade down to many areas. Did see a couple of students working on digital projects but didn’t learn enough to comment on the strength of that program

The film program is film studies; not production so if she decides she wants production this would not be the best school for her.
