<p>I am a mother of a sophomore communications major at HPU. The other night after after my son went to his first Student Government Association meeting, he texted me saying, "Call me ASAP". When I first read the text, I was worried something had gone wrong, so I called him right away. Come to find out he was calling to express his complete satisfaction with the administrators at HPU. During the 7-8PM SGA meeting, Vice Presidents were there for the students as part of a Q&A session. The student body was allowed to ask any questions to the administration that they wanted. My son said he was so amazed at the care and dedication each Vice President had to the students and HPU. After the meeting, my son went up to one Vice President who he spoke with last year, and the Vice President even remembered his name! My son said the two of them talked for 20 minutes "about life". I'm so thankful my son attends HPU, where he is shown the attention everyone on earth deserves. The exposure he gets to the administrators is amazing...he's learning so much from them. Once we were about to hang up my son said, "Wait mom... I have one more thing I want to say...I have never had someone believe in my potential as much as they do!"</p>
<p>I am in the Student Senate for High Point’s SGA, and the Community Affairs Board is an evening that everyone looks forward to every semester. I think it is absolutely remarkable that High Point University arranges this “panel discussion” every semester. The school really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is informed and on the same page with everything going on at High Point University, and the administrators even inform the student body about future plans, as well. You really get to see, first hand, just how much this University values it’s students. It’s certainly something I always look forward to every semester.</p>
