Admission Appeal Question

I applied to Cal Poly Pomona, but I got rejected from there because I didn’t have over 60 credits. I told them that I would fix my incomplete that I received in Linear Algebra so that I would have over 60 by the end of spring.

Fast forward, I get an email from CPP on 4/11.

"We have carefully reviewed your appeal, and based on the information that you provided, we would like to inform you that your appeal has been granted and we will continue to consider your admission for specified term.

On behalf of the Admissions Committee, we thank you for your patience and will be contacted regarding your admission status."

It’s been weeks now, and I still haven’t gotten a follow up response. I’ve called them tons of times, but the only real answer I received was that I need to keep waiting. What are the chances that I actually get admitted into CPP. I’m majoring in Computer Science but I have a 3.14 GPA. Are they just waiting to see how many applications appeal and dish out admissions in a batch or is it case by case? It’s just taking way too long and I’m getting anxious.

Thanks for any help.
