You are in, look to better schools with what you got

lol, some people actually want to go to Cornell, you know...

Frankly, if i apply ED to cornell, do i have a very good chance. Will the engineering program at Cornell do justice to my potential ( i haveheard it's the best among the ivy's)

I think you'll do fine. I hope you know that the ED deadline is november 1st. So thats really soon! Good Luck!

Can you please tell me why engineering at Cornell would be more advantageous than , say, at Princeton or COlumbia

I believe it has better ranks in USN&WR.

pardon me for asking, but what's USN&WR

ooo Sorry! I forgot your international. It is United States News and World Report. It is a magazine. Once every year it publishes an issue. In this issue it ranks America's best colleges. I'll send you the engineering ranking when I get back from school.

its tied at 9 i believe.

is this for just the engineering course or the university as a whole. According to the Times higher education supplement, it's #11, ahead of Brown and Columbia, but behind Princeton, U Chicago, Dartmouth
