<p>mine still says application complete. no word from committee. i hope that doesnt mean i didnt even make committee</p>
<p>aggh my application was pulled for a read on jan 5, but i still don’t have committee completed. 
sigh, i guess they’re debating my app…</p>

I’ve said this every few days-- PLEASE stop trying to read into the codes on your WAIITP page…there are so many possibilities here.</p>
<p>The package is read by a committee for admissions purposes, again for a financial aid review and another committee for a small subset for merit consideration…</p>
<p>A completed review could be a positive or a negative sign…</p>
<p>The point being - there are 26,000 applicants- and approximately 25 of you posting codes here is NOT a scientific analysis of anything.
If you’re a serious CMU student- then you know we don’t draw conclusions on a small set of anecdotes.</p>
<p>Yes-- waiting is EXTREMELY painful…but those messages can mean ANYTHING…the best we can do on April 15 is compare notes on what those codes ultimately meant-- AND I’ll bet you a Tartan bumper sticker that those codes are all over the map…</p>
<p>Sincere best wishes to everyone…please stop these senseless posts…you cannot prove anything and you are making others feel unnecessarily anxious!</p>
<p>Mom2012and14 - great way to sum it up! I agree I don’t think you can read to much into what order they are reading/reviewing your application. Sit tight - decisions will be out soon!</p>
<p>HAHA so true fellow Moms! I feel a bit responsible as I started the thread. I did not mean for everyone to stress out about it. With the volume they are dealing with in admissions, it is a wonder they have updated as much as they have! I really do not think you can assume something is wrong if you do not have the status. I was just so happy to see it!</p>

<p>^ Am I the only person still waiting for the committee to be completed? Sigh. I have a bad feeling about college admissions. I still haven’t gotten anything from Rochester either while others have.</p>
