Congratulations Jlinkk!

Hey! HisGraceFillsMe! How have you been?

No more admissions yet? Hard to believe they aren’t wrapping it up.

Not too worried yet, but one never knows!

Frustrating, isn’t it?! D hasn’t heard anything yet. I’m a bit concerned. Hope both of our kids hear back soon :).

MLM: a bit perplexed, especially when D is well within their admit range. But the admissions process is pretty crazy, that’s for sure! Hope you hear soon!

Wow. I feel for you two and your kids.

My son applied as a transfer student last October, turned in his transcripts in January and has not heard anything. He e-mailed his admissions specialist last week and was told to keep checking. I must say it is comforting to know others have not heard and that he just wasn’t passed over. My older son applied to grad schools a couple years ago and one school never gave him a decision. Good Luck.

OK, D finally received acceptance today on the portal! She is pretty excited, and looks forward to visiting there in April.

Yippee! I’m am so glad to hear that she received the news she deserved. Please be sure to post back the details from your April visit.

Congrats Crizello (& D), I’m so glad your wait is over :).

MLM: Have you and D heard anything?

MLM: I assume no news for you? Are you considering a call or email to the admissions specialist? D was just about to do that the day her portal changed

Transmom: No, we haven’t heard anything. No news for you, either? D started to take a better look at the other college she was accepted to (SF State) and has talked about the positives of attending there (but would rather go to Sonoma). I hope both of our kids hear soon!

Crizello - D called SSU admissions about a week ago and they said all admission decisions would be distributed by the end of the month. I have no idea why it’s taking this long, her major isn’t impacted, eligibility index # is fine, she’s above the 75 percentile for admissions based on their common data set, and she’s exempt from testing, so she shouldn’t be rejected. Maybe too many kids applied for her major this year? I don’t know…

I’m so afraid something like what happened in 2010 will happen again http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sonoma-state-university/895362-last-day-get-accepted.html

Dd said if she doesn’t hear by 03/29, she’ll move on.

MLM: No still no word. My son says if he doesn’t hear by Monday he is going to call. I do feel a little better after reading that you found out it is now until the end of the month. I hope we don’t have a repeat of 2010, but again I am more hopeful to read that students still got admitted this late is the game.

crizello: Congratulations to you and your D.

Any more news? I’m hoping it is good news for those of you waiting to hear.

No news yet. I honestly don’t know what to think. By contrast, D’s twin brother applied to 13 colleges (4 CSU’s, 6 UC’s, 3 privates) and heard back from all except one (which will release info tomorrow at 5 PM. He heard from all his CSU’s by early January.

Have any transfer students heard back from Sonoma State yet?
Any word or update??

My son’s admission status was finally updated today midmorning. He was accepted and is very excited. He is a transfer student. Hang in there, no news isnt necessarily bad news.

Congrats Transmom & Son!

Congrats Transmom!
I’m on the edge of my chair everyday waiting…
