Can someone help me with telling me the qualifications needed to get into Harvard to do an MBA? And is Harvard the best place to do an MBA?

Eurasian Lady- just to make sure, you're an undergraduate in college who's talking about applying to Harvard Business School, right?

You probably are, but I want to make sure you're not talking about applying to the undergraduate school to get a business degree, since MBAs are given in grad school and Harvard doesn't offer an undergrad business degree. (I apologize in advance if I'm confused- you just don't see many people applying to grad school on these forums).

If you're applying to get a graduate degree at Harvard Business School, then yes- it is one of the best business schools out there, with a very few possible exceptions like Yale. That's the full extent of my knowledge- I don't know a thing about applying to grad schools.

Hi Admiral. Thank you for your post. Yes I am talking about grad school at Harvard business. I don't want to do the MBA once I graduate, but in the future after I work full-time....

Anyone else know of the qualifications needed for An MBA (Masters of Business) at Harvard?

Check out the MBA program at MIT which tends to be very innovative; MIT allows any business/management-major undergraduate to take any MBA/graduate courses offered at the Sloan School of Management.

Harvard Business school is often considered the best in the world.

The only numbers I have is that in 2005 the average GPA (undergrad) of those who were accepted was 3.64 and their GMAT score was 707. I've also heard that your much more likely to get in if you went to Harvard College.

I think in a graduate application scores are everything even moreover than in an undergraduate application. I know someone who got in basically becuase they excelled in the company they were involved with after college (before applying to grad).

So basically you have to be successful in your career to be able to be accepted into Harvard? Thank you everyone...
