I was wondering whether HBS interview all the candidates? If the applicant doesn't receive interview notice, is that mean the applicant get reject?

Yes, I think so

No, I don’t think they do. I was at one of of their info sessions, and I asked an admin person what percentage of applicants are offered interviews. She said that they don’t publish that information. I took it to mean that they don’t interview all of their applicants. I know Kellogg does, but I have not heard that for HBS.

All accepted students are interviewed. This is published on their webpage. I have heard each year that they waitlist a handful of candidates they didn’t interview (as well as some they did) but this is unusual. Basically no interview = ding from HBS.

pretty much, id imagine there have been exceptions but only in very unusual circumstances.

MBA2010;

My yes was to the question about rejection, not if they interview everyone. I’ve been told that they interview about twice as many people as they take, although I’m sure it varies quite a bit from one year to the next.
