I’m not a fan of some of them not sending emails. As an international student, I worry my decision might get lost in the mail, or arrive too late

Why did all the Ivys switch to March 29? It made much more sense to keep it on the 30th or 31st (Friday and Saturday). It’s like they’re purposely trying to make us have an awkward and potentially miserable day of school the next day. SMH

Wow…I’m going to be on an orchestra trip when most of my college decisions come out. It’s going to be really awkward if I have to check the decisions with all of my friends in the same room…

Two things:
(1) Tulane is doing sort of a rolling admission. If you haven’t heard back after 4~5 weeks, you probably get a rejection on April 1st.

(2) Does anyone know Johns Hopkins sends decision through mail or email?

@ckpckp1994, I read that JHU releases their decisions by email.

Are all Ivies on the 29th now? Because when I checked a few weeks ago, it seemed like some were still doing theirs on the 30th/1st.

wher did u get the wash u notification date in the past they have released the second Friday in march

Mobile so I can’t update the list, but Smith is March 23 and MIT is March 14.

i’m confused about washu. I just went to their website and they said April 1st. Is this list definitive or just estimates based on previous years?

March 31 is a Saturday (someone change that for Columbia).

Will the process work the same way even if it’s a weekend? At least it’s not on a schoolday, where I’d be more stressed.

Not sure what exactly is meant above by decisions “mailed” by Vassar and Wesleyan; both schools explicity say that decisions will be emailed, not snail mailed.

While WashU’s website does say April 1st, for the past several years decisions have been posted on the pathway around the second week of March. They do not specify the date ahead of time, however, so you will just get an email one day telling you to check the pathway (though sometimes decisions are posted even before these emails go out).
