It seems like this year, the colleges don't need as many kids...

or is it that there are just more people applying and they are trying to keep the same number of students (hence the lower percentage)

Is it going to be like this for the class of '12? I hope not:(

The biggest driver is simply the baby boom. Admission rates will start going up in the next few years as high school class sizes become smaller.

Yup yup. The echo.

It will probably be worse for the Class of '12.

wait, why???? Isn't the class of '11 the best in the entire generation?????

The class of '11 is supposed to be the biggest. After that it's supposed to decline.

that goes against what logisticslord said!!!!

there are conflicting answers...

well, there are conflicting answers because no one really knows for sure......how can we?

AND if it goes down after '11, it's still not going upa lot at once, it will probably still be lower than it is now....

thank god...

I've heard that statistically, '12 is the largest group; classes '11 and '13 will probably have a slight advantage (as they don't have as much competition...)

Just my luck that '12 should be my class....>_<

oh no.... I was hoping for less competition, guess its not going to happen :(

The solution to this problem would be...use condoms! ^.^

that's not funny, mister.

let's all band together now and have 1 or less kids so that they don't have to go through what we did...:)

know I want them to suffer

I heard the class of '12's going to have the LOWEST admissions rate EVER in the history, and then after that it'll get better...
