I warn you...

open them on wednsday morning. Tuesdays are unlucky!!!

what's wrong with Tuesdays???

but thanks for your advice!!!

but if they send it on the 10th, wont it not get to you till the 11th or 12th. or do they send it so it gets to you on the 10th?

Andover sends their stuff on the 9th, I know that. I'd assume it's the same with the other schools too, otherwise everyone would be waiting for March 11.

i heard the online rejections are harsh, anyone clarify that?

i think snail mail is the way to go.

Guys - just to let you know that, except for those schools that have online notification, many of you will NOT get your decisions on the 10th. Some (a very few) may mail them before the 10th, but most won't. So, if it's like past years, some of you won't get your decisions until days after the 10th. Waiting well past the 11th is not at all unheard of.

For those of you who live in the Midwest, South, West, it will take some time for those letters to get to you! It's hard to wait, I know, but many of you will be waiting. Hang in there.

online rejections are harsh...
When rejected I'll be angry regardless of how encouraging or kind the letter is.

I don't mind rejection at all. As long as SOMEONE accepts me I don't care how mean the others are.

would schools send their letters via faster mail or something???
(for international)

Oh for int'l applicants I believe that schools will either give you an account on their database to check your decisions or will email you on March 10th. If neither applies to a specific school then if you get accepted they will send the package overnight I suppose, probably through FedEx.

No... no schools send their decisions before M10. They send them on M10. If you live local, you'll receive them on the 11th, but you eycertainly won't receive them on the 10th.

Hey PA-C! have you found a way to access Middlesex's decision online?

what do the online admissions look like??? anyone recieved one before?

I'm sorry benevolent4them but I have to disagree. They do send them before the 10th. I got my acceptance last year on the 9th. And I live 4 hours from the school. They usually send them around the 6th or so. So you might know by the 10th.

My bad, the 8th. the 9th was a sunday.

...was that chatham hall. They do things differently there.

My sister go her Andover and Exeter on the 11th. We live 45 minutes away.

Clearly, it depends on the school. When I applied to boarding school, March 10 was a Sunday. I got my acceptance the next day, so it was obviously sent earlier than that day.

And seriously, benevolent? "was that chatham hall. They do things differently there." Every place does things differently. No need to imply something about the schools people are applying to.

Actually no. Back off, I wasn't implying anything about Chatham Hall.

whatever you say...

wow (ten char)
