can an A levels student taking mathematics and physics but not chemistry and biology be accepted in harvard, caltech, mit, yale, princeton or other good universities in usa for undergraduate studies in mathematics or physics?

they will evaluate your A- levels the same way UK universities would. just keep your grades up :)

The requirement usually is 4 years of math and 4 years of science in high school.
Did you have O levels in chemistry and biology?

An AP in Biology does not give you a pass at MIT for Biology and they require you to take the biology offered at MIT. So I would assume it would apply to A level Biology too which means it would nt make a difference.
