<p>On the other hand, RPI (Jim Nondorf’s previous gig) may provide a relevant precedent, too. Last year, it had total non-waitlist admissions of about 4,600, and waitlist offers of 3,500, of which about 11% were eventually offered admission. And when Nondorf was at Yale, their waitlist offers basically equalled their admission offers (i.e, they would admit about 1,900, and offer waitlist places to another 1,900 or so).</p>
