Admission to Mcgill science undergraduate

I’m in grade 12 in India. I had 93% in grade 10 but my grades dropped to 85% in grade 11 because of rough evaluation in our school . I and working hard and expect to score 95-99% in grade 12th. My school final result will arrive around December, and I will be able to put it in my application to Mcgill as an undergraduate. But I have two questions (as I literally have no one to guide me here ):

  1. when I submit my application in Jan 2020, I wouldn’t have given my ISC (which is like the A levels /Board exams/Standardised school leaving exam) , so would I be even considered for the admission? I wish to score >98% in ISC (which would help me get a scholarship) but I won’t get my marks till May 2020 , so will Mcgill consider my ISC marks?

  2. do class 11 marks matter very much as I have got less ? How much scholarship can I get with the above-mentioned marks? I am the school Vice Captain. I won several Sports and Art competitions and had ranked 2nd in my state and 15th in India in English Olympiad, among other achievements.

Read what McGill says… their admission test score requirements are. It will be interested to see if the “test scores trend up” next year ? The higher you are above the minimum standards the better chance you have. Compared to competitive universities in the US you at least know you are not getting BS’d by McGill if your standardized tests scores are below par you will be waiting to get rejected or waitlisted. The closer you are above the “minimum scores” you will wait longer to hear if you are accepted or waitlisted. Good luck.
