Hi,

I am currently thinking about of writing my GRE and applying to LSE.

My goal is to be admitted into the Master of Economics and Philosophy program in LSE.

There is a problem. Big one.

My undergraduate grades are terrible, especially during my freshmen and sophomore years. with GPA of <3.0 (2.7 ish) ... I improved slightly on my academics during my final two years, with the combined average or around 3.4 just around the admission requirement on the LSE site for Canadian Graduates (77% average)

After my undergraduate studies, I studied an MBA in a canadian university. I scored in the 95% tile in the GMAT Quantitative portion (Which I heard is something of a requirement for a graduate degree in Economics) There, I received a cumulative average of a B+. Which is also the minimum requirement on the LSE website for canadian graduates.

After I graduated, I started working as a Consultant at Accenture, if i am admitted to the graduate program in 2013 i would have spent 3.5 years working there.

Seeing that my GPA is abysmal...

Do I have a shot of getting into LSE for economics and philosophy? if not LSE, do I have a shot in any reputable university around the globe? Chicago? Insead? Columbia? etc?

Should I just give up the idea of going back to school?
