admission

Hi!

So i need help here. I'm a very good student, with a very high GPA (top 3% of my class; never let my grades drop) and a lot of extracurriculars. My essays are pretty good too (if I might say so myself :P)!
The only problem I have is with standardized testing. I'm on a 29 in the ACT and a 1980 on the SAT. I've taken two subject SATs so far: 670 in one, 690 in the other.
How strong do you think my chances are at Cornell, Brown, Duke, Dartmouth, Tufts and UChicago? (of course, I'm only talking about my reach colleges here :P)

Also, I'm an international student and have no hooks.

Any help is welcome. Thanks!

We would have to know what your exact ECs are to give a more specific answer, but…

It will hurt you, but if the rest of your application is as good as you say it will not kill your chances. You might also want to look at test optional school.

The fact that you are an international makes your chances of admission lower. Right now, tufts seems to be the only one on your list that’s plausible. However, all of these colleges have holistic admissions- meaning that admin counselor a might be willing to look over your test scores if you shine in most other areas. Good luck!!
