<p>How much hope can you put in what an admissions counselor says to you? If they tell you that you're a solid applicant and you've put yourself in a good position does that really mean you've got a good chance of being accepted? I'm just curious if this is something they'd say to everyone or if they even have much say in acceptances individually.</p>
