Admissions daniel - look in please

<p>I always wanted to attend Johns Hopkins University since ever my freshmen year in high school.</p>

<p>In your personal opinion WHAT makes a applicant really stand out to the ADCOM besides impressive ACT scores, high GPA, excellent class rank, etc.</p>

<p>Daniel's posted in older threads about what he looks for in broad terms, but here's my $0.02: You have to show passion in something - whether its saving Darfur or scientific research, mountain climbing or debate tournaments, you have to show that there's something you're really interested in. I think this goes two ways - allowing the admissions officers to learn more about you and showing what you can contribute to campus.</p>
