Admissions Decision

^^ Depends on how quickly the mail gets to your house and if they can get all 34000 letters out today (that seems liek a very big task!)

Just set up my Ds uconn email. Nothing in there but some generic google emails about using the email. they were sent on the 24th.

What’s the point of having an online application status if they don’t post decisions before you get a letter!!!

Exactly what I’m thinking!! It wouldn’t make sense.

Apparently they are mailing it out on Monday ?!?!!

But shouldn’t they release decisions online today, while the letters are mailed either today or monday (assuming).

@PrayforUF‌ where did you get this info from? On the Facebook page its says they are trying to do it today

Keep in mind that Uconn’s tweet and facebook page show the Husky dog and says "waiting on “ACCEPTANCE” letter? and they are working hard to get those out today. Maybe that means rejection letters will be mailed out over the next two weeks. That way they only have to mail out about 16,000 acceptance letters over the next couple of days rather than getting to 34,000 all at once.

^^ What are you basing this on? Everything seems to point to the letters going out today (or at least starting to go out today) : the UConn FB page mentions letters going out today and the article in the UConn Today a couple of days ago mentions letters going out on Friday.

Two years ago my son got his decision online prior to getting his letter in the mail.

He got his online decision on a Monday and got his letter a couple of days later (but they could have sent that letter out on the Friday before, it just took a few days to get to our house.

Thats why I’m saying most decisions should be posted online today if most are being mailed out today and or monday.

The comments on one of the posts say that the decisions are posted Sunday and a guy posted that he called the office and they said they are sending it out Monday

@PrayforUF‌ Don’t see it, link please

@Fanpple Thanks for showing how to get into e-mail by: “I changed my password with the orange button on this page http://g.uconn.edu then I logged into a regular google account with the firstname.lastname@uconn.edu email address”

Unfortunately, Got this error message when trying to change the password: “there was problem finding your Google apps account. Please contact an administrator.”

That can’t be a good sign. :frowning:

Anyone else get this message?

That is the exact message that I received, however on my portal I have the New Admit Scholarship Acceptance link as well as apply for summer financial aid.

Checked my son’s Uconn email account. He has emails from WTBY_UG (applied to Storrs). His portal does show “apply for summer financial aid link” but no deposit link. I wonder if this means he only got into Waterbury campus.

I got the email error when I used my computer but was able to access through my iPad…try and use a different device. Still no emails from regional campuses, along with active housing link, taking this as a good sign for both sons (twins!!)

My D graduated UConn in 2013, she had her acceptance in Mid December, my middle S applied two years later and was accepted to the business school the second week in December. UConn was their first accept, why did they have to change their system. I am waiting, my son doesn’t care, he rather I write a check for 55K to go to one of his other schools!!

I do not have a housing link does not look good where’s the link

My email set up didn’t work before too but now it does

I also only have an email and the summer financial aid link. I logged into my email today and only had the emails from Google. Hope that’s a good sign!
