I haven't seen an updated, recent discussion with admissions decisions for the fall 2015 term. I applied in October and still haven't heard anything though I know the website says they aren't supposed to be released until March. I saw from last year's forums that many people received theirs in late January or early February. I just wanted to create a place where people could post news when they get it!

The deadline for repying is march 1st so many people get their letters before the last possible date.

The website says notification begins March 1 and the deposit deadline is May 1. However it has said that in years past and people recieved them earlier than March 1.
Two years ago my son got his acceptance on Feb 8th.
Does anybody know if you hear by mail first or if there is a status change a day or 2 before a decision gets posted on the UConn website?
I’ve heard that in previous years, fine arts students who are admitted do get an advance letter, based on very strong portfolio reviews, that their application will be “recommended for admission” to the university…? Other than those students/that major I think its online decision followed by mail…? Just basing that on what I’ve heard, don’t know for sure though…
I have seen some decisions posted on twitter….
@TLD1267 where on Twitter?
@Heibbi7383h …type in Uconn Accepted
The only acceptances I have seen are for grad school, arts programs, and the Hartford campus, so that’s maybe why most people haven’t gotten their decisions yet.
Also saw a few for transfer students, so that’s another possible answer
Hopefully this week is the week for all of the rest of us!
