Admissions Decisions Class of 2021

i dont want to wait till January :frowning:

Are people still hearing back??!?

accepted from IL - direct admit to business

I was admitted at exactly 5:35 p.m. today!! Here are all my stats:
GPA: 3.85 weighted, probably around 3.6 unweighted
ACT: 31
Class Rank: top 21%
In-state
All application materials received by 10/26
Major: Pre-Neuroscience (Pre-Medicine)
5 APs and many honors classes
Applied for Scholars Program
Extracurriculars: I did a little bit of everything these past few years of high school. I was on the cross country team for two years and in the band for two years. I joined choir and theatre sophomore year and have been pursing those activities since then, and also joined the speech and debate team junior year and have continued with that as well. I am a Girl Scout Ambassador and volunteer at a local hospital. I did volunteering/shadowing in a lab as well the summer before my senior year, and I am the Vice President of my schoolā€™s chapter of NHS. I am involved in many clubs at my school as well, along with a few different mentoring programs.

I was very worried I wouldnā€™t get in, especially to the pre-med neuroscience major because I didnā€™t have the greatest grades my freshman year (many Bs, some B-s) and my sophomore year I got a C in my math class. While it was an advanced math class it was still a C and I was worried these grades might keep me out. However, from the beginning of my junior year on I have had all As so I think the upward trend in my grades helped me out a lot. Also, I have many extracurriculars, so that probably made a difference as well. I worked very hard to do things to boost my application to compensate for my average grades, such as working hard to perfect my essays and studying for months for the ACT. I got to be really close with my AP Biology teacher, and she wrote my letter of rec. I would assume her letter also helped my application. Sorry for the long post, but I have been checking up on these threads regularly for the past year or so, and it would have been very helpful to me to read a detailed post like this about someone who was in a position similar to me. So to anyone reading this who may be in a situation like mine, donā€™t give up hope!! I hope this post can be of help to some of those reading this thread.

Congratulations to everyone who was admitted so far. I wish everyone else waiting the best of luck! I hope you all get decisions soon.

How long until they stop releasing?

I turned in my application on 9/25. Everything was recieved by 10-2. I have a 4.0 UW GPA, and a 4.5 Weighted GPA. My ACT is slightly lower (27 composite) but I have been involved in cross country, track, swimming, and 4H all 4 years in high schoolā€¦ why have I not heard at least a decision yet

Anybody expecting a decision today and hasnā€™t gotten an email?

I am still waiting to hear. Does last name impact in the order of how they release?

ADMITTED.

Very proud and honored to be offered the privilege of becoming a member of the Buckeye family.

@cnschamp Iā€™m in your same boat. I have no clue why they havenā€™t made a decision yet, all of friends have heard and they applied after me. Maybe weā€™re really on the bubble

Admitted bitches

This process certainly teaches patienceā€¦ Still waiting. Submitted on 10/28. 4.38 GPA 34 ACT BioMed

I think they keep going until like 9 oā€™clock. Iā€™m still at Evaluation.

If a school has the nerve to tell you after Christmas they shouldnā€™t be attended
