Just received admission to Engineering. Applied after Christmas.
I was accepted into arts and science for political science major on main campus. ACT: 32 and GPA: 3.92
Just got my honors acceptance around 11 pm.
I’m still waiting for my decision to come. :-S

Why is my application still under evaluation??? It’s frustrating waiting for the decision to come cause its one of the schools that I really want to go to. I applied in December!!!
I am sure you will hear back soon. My D applied at the end of October and didn’t hear back until the end of Jan.

does anybody know the benefits of the engineering honors program? do i have to apply as an honors student or is it possible to apply for it after the first semester?
@Crazy12 I understand your frustration, waiting is not fun and can drive you crazy. However to put it in perspective, there were people who applied Early Acceptance in the very beginning of October that didn’t get an answer until the end of January. I don’t think there was a rhyme or reason to why some people hear back sooner than others. Hang in there, you should get an answer soon. :o)
@tiredhuman I believe you can apply to the honors program later. I’d call or email the honors program people and ask. The benefits are listed at: https://honors-scholars.osu.edu/honors but I think the biggest one is being able to register earlier than you would if you weren’t in the program.
Is it true that another round of decisions are coming out tonight?
Got my Honors decision via email 30 mins ago - rejected. I was, however, offered, and subsequently submitted my Scholars programs preferences.
Has anybody else not gotten any word from OSU yet about their admissions status?
