<p>My status hasn’t updated since saturday either, and that part of the application portal updates everyday, so that could be a very good sign that they will come out on Friday. However, I’m not getting my hopes up, I’m still thinking they are going to be coming out on Monday the 28th, but I hope I’m wrong.</p>
<p>JMU posted decisions beforenthey emailed. I got an email 4 days after my S decision was posted. Maybe UMD will quietly post Friday to avoid the crashing ofnthensite!</p>
<p>After waiting on hold and listening to recorded messages for almost 15 minutes due to “high volume” today, I finally reached a live person. I asked her about admission decisions and she said they are hoping to have everything posted by Feb. 1st. An email will be sent to each student telling them when an admissions decision has been reached and they can log into their UMD account to see the status. Maybe it will be sooner than that, but the whole dept seemed pretty backlogged when I called. She also told me there are several Admitted Students Open Houses in the spring but the dates are not confirmed yet for those either.</p>
<p>sigh… Would really like to know my decision ASAP.</p>

<p>I am pretty sure that had always been there, and even if it hasn’t I don’t think it means anything.</p>
<p>lets just say that decisions do come out tmrw… do you think it’ll be in the morning or later in the day? need to mentally prepare myself lol</p>
<p>I would expect it to be between 4 and 6 pm on whatever day it happens. breathe…!</p>
<p>btw tutor222, they want everything “posted” by the Feb 1st… meaning letters sent to each individuals home, which they said will arrive on Feb 6… the actual electronic decision will (hopefully) be earlier</p>

<p>@HugoBlack I noticed that too! I first noticed it on Saturday when I received my new phone. I’m praying that it is a sign of my UMD acceptance :D</p>
<p>jersey-if you want to see going insane, check out the UNC-Chapel Hill Early Action thread. Folks have been pulling their hairs out for weeks for a Jan 30/31 deadline. Better to steer clear, on second thought!</p>

<p>update: just double checked and he DOES have it. Dont know how long it has been there.</p>
<p>The limited enrollment thing has been there always. Unfortunately, I do not think it is an indication of admission.</p>
<p>Does everyone’s application status still say “under review” rather than complete or is it just mine?</p>
<p>They all say under review. In the section below that the first line says completed with a date. Mine is 1/24/13.</p>
