i think myberkeleyapp is where you do all your application stuff. decisions don't come out until the end of march so don't even be thinking about it until then. it'll be a while.

you may find a request for additional information on myberkeleyapp, so it is a good idea to check it from time to time and not simply wait until March.

has anyone received a confirmation e-mail from berkeley acknowledging that they did infact receive your application?

Historically, Cal is the last UC to report decisions, so assume March 31 and be surprised if its earlier.

wow.....d-bags, so i found the site, but forget my number and password, lame.....theres only one reason really, is it possible to change ur intended major on that site?

yeah i want to change my major too, but i doubt we can

unless we call or something. crap i dont know if i should do that.

If you are applying to the college of letters and sciences, the major doesn't matter as everyone is admitted as undeclared anyway. It is only for schools like engineering and chemistry where a declaration counts.

yeah i applied engineering and i want to know if I can switch

but engineering was involved pretty deeply in my essay so im doubting myself to even try.
whatever, cal is wonderful but this is just another reason why going there is pretty much impossible.
SIGH
I cant change it so I won't worry about it.

i know i want to do engineering, but i was stuck between chemical and nuclear engineering, but now im leaning toward nuclear engineer, and idk if i put down nuclear, chem, or undeclared. oh well......

Then apply as Engineering undeclared; keep in mind that ChemE is in the College of Chemistry though.
