For those still waiting, note that Ohio state admissons weighs most heavily gpa and class rank —65% of the entering class for 2017-18 were in the top 10%. And 95% of the entering class was in the top 25% of their high school graduating class. (Even if your high school does not rank, the local admissons officer for the geographic region of your high school—including for out-of-state, is familiar with the high school’s class profile and can figure out the relative class rank for each applicant, with added weight given due course rigor). Recommendations and extracurriculars are considered but given a lesser weight. Also about 22% of the entering class is from out-of-state, so as to increase geographic diversity, thus making admissons even more difficult. I have been through the admissons twice with my kids the past four years. It is a process. Best of luck to all applicants still waiting for a decision!

OSU got my SAT scores before the EA deadline. does anyone know if they consider my Nov. SAT scores i sent after I applied?

Looks like January is the day for it, I wish they just responded in terms of first come first serve so that the people who applied the earliest don’t have to wait the longest.
Someone said that they do it throughout the night earlier… I pray that’s true.
At least we know if we didn’t get a notification today, we’re going to be alerted of either acceptance, reject, or defer! So time to wait another month X_X FYI, Notre Dame decisions are out in the mean time.
