I’m out of state and still under evaluation 
@Hannah5292 no one is 100% sure about that statement. From what we’ve observed, yes. For now, I am seeing no instate student decisions, and only OOS.
I’m instate, it seems no one from instate has heard back yet. I think I’m going to take a nap while I wait. Sigh.
All this waiting is actually so funny because my family isn’t home with me right now but I know they’ll want to see my reaction (should I be so lucky to get in) so each time I check my application portal I record myself and it’s hilarious to see how disappointed I get when I see it still says “Evaluation”! ugh I hope more people start hearing back soon

Does the date and time I applied affect when I hear a decision? I applied at about 2 hours before the EA deadline so would this make me more likely to receive a decision next week?

Hey! Just to verify, for the people posting with updates today. Do you know for sure the portal updated your status today? There just aren’t that many decisions here and I’m wondering if these are decisions from another day that people are posting today?
Denied Columbus. Accepted Newark. In state. 3.2 GPA unweighted, 31 ACT. multiple leadership roles, many ECs, strong essay. Very competitive private high school. Can anyone shed light on any chance you can get bumped from Newark to main campus = like waitlist? Or is this a final decision?
@hopefulOSUbound My decision came today! I checked it nonstop throughout the day. In the past waves, many of my friends who got accepted got their emails and status changes in the middle of the night, most around 12am and some even at 3am!!
Applied EA in late October and still haven’t heard back! I hope I get an answer within the week.
