hey i'm applying to bryn mawr, and possibly mount holyoke and smith. i was just wondering the stats of anyone who already got accepted or are currently attending, b/c i'd like to know where i stand. plz post!

that's cool. I'm applying to an all guys school. When you tell your griends that your applying to all women's colleges what do trhey say?

Women's colleges, not girls schools...

yes...I know that....

yea. "women's" my mistake....

actually my friends are taking bets on how long i'm going to last. i keep insisting that haverford and swarthmore are really not that far away and some classes are integrated so it's not a big deal. how about you wabash?

Bryn Mawr, acceptance rate 47%, 62% freshmen come from the top 10% class, mid 50% SAT 1220-1410, ACT 26-30.

Mt. Holyoke, acceptance rate 56%, avg GPA 3.6, mid 50% SAT 1190-1380, ACT 26-30.

Smith, acceptance rate 57%, avg GPA 3.8, mid 50% SAT 1160-1370, ACT 25-30.

So how do you compare?

Well, I'm applying to Hampden-Sydney in VA. My friends are also taking bets. Hampden-Sydeny ois really like the school that time forgot. One t-shirt says: "We say grace, We say Ma'am if you ain't into that then we don't give a damn!"

Mt Holyoke is also SAT optional.

haha nice motto wabash, GL with that

actually i have no idea where i stand....it looks like it's a reach for me.

i have a 3.4, but it's b/c something happened my junior year. i'm doing reg. decision b/c i know i have to prove to the colleges that i'm better than that. i plan to have a 4.0 by december when they send my first semester grades. i didn't take the sat I yet. i took sat II and got a 650 in hist and took ap hist and got a 4. my ec's are pretty swell and i know i can ace the essay...think i have a chance at bryn mawr? or mount holyoke?
