I sent in my application about a month ago and have received the letter in the mail with my ID and pin number, but when I check my admissions status it says they haven't received my Common Application, Transcript, or Essay. Are they slow entering things in the system or should I send them an e-mail?

Think about all the paper they have to open, file and then enter into the system. Don't e-mail them; give them another month. They know you applied, they have your app since they gave you an ID and PIN. Cut them some slack.

It took Villanova (during EA, no less) 3 and 1/2 weeks after delivery (confirmed postage with delivery time) to open my school docs (I paid the postage and my GC sent it out). (the transcript, etc.). My electronic Common app was also not reflected on my file until 3 and 1/2 weeks later.

In other words, don't worry about it :D

Alright, thanks. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

Yeah, it took them a bit for myself too. I was wondering the same thing as you!

Yes, they take forever. You may want to call the admissions department anyway, to show your interest - I think V tracks that stuff.
