Hi, I am currently a student at the University of Minnesota majoring in Finance/MIS and I am wondering what my chances are of getting into a Masters Degree Program in Computer Science?

I have a 3.65 gpa and I am in the honors program looking to graduate Magna Cum Laude in the fall of 2011. I will also be working for IBM(Finance related) for 9 months before I graduate.

i’ll chance you if you chance me! from what i’ve been reading/talking to people about, you have an excellent chance of getting into a Master’s program. I know a woman who majored in German Studies (at Yale) who got an MSIS at Drexel and then an MS in Comp Sci at NYU. I know a guy who studied Music at a small school, who got a Master in Engineering at Harvard. Both of them were good writers, and very smart. So, maybe they were able to write really good personal statements, plus have good GPAs and GRE scores.
