<p>Thanks, Carolyn, for that link. I have mixed feelings about these official, canned blogs. I've always thought of blogs as a great means of individual expression. In a sense that's just the opposite of these kind of official marketing products. It becomes an infomercial.</p>
<p>I guess the one thing I do appreciate is when they tell us what is going on inside a particular admissions office at a particular time. That's the kind of stuff that someone like myself (an outsider to the process) doesn't normally understand. There's nothing in the other mailings to convey that sense of what is currently going on.</p>
