Admissions package

I have received a letter about a scholarship but not any admissions package with a way of accepting or declining the offer of admission. Will I? Is there a way to decline online?

If you don't send in your deposit, it'll automatically be declined by May 1st.

But most schools have a paper to send them to tell them that you are not accepting.

Tufts has them too. But you don't actually need to send them in for any school.

Anyways, the form should have came with your acceptance package.

I haven't got anything in the mail from Tufts either. I got my decision online, along with my FA #'s, but nothing has come in the mail yet.

^ ^ Obviously a postal issue. Just call the Admissions Office. Of course, if you don't want to go to Tufts just forget about it. If you don't send in a deposit by May 1, they'll just assume you're not interested.

I know it sounds inconsiderate, but I did just that. I was living abroad and didn't really want to go to the pains of going to a postal office and mailing each one back to the US and UK. I never heard from the schools again; they got my point.

You don't have to send in decline forms, but you should. This sounds like a weird horror story, but my one friend decided to go to Georgia instead of UNC, but UNC sent him roommate info over the summer; apparently they thought he was still going! It was actually pretty hilarious.

They also offered me what is apparently a rather rare scholarship and so I feel that I should decline as soon as possible.

I haven't gotten anything in the mail either. Should I email them?

I got my admissions package in the mail today!! its pretty thin, theres the letter and a couple of leaflets explaining the open day. There's also a CD, which unfortunately for me...does not work! Anyone can tell me what it is?

The CD, titled "Tufts Is...." provides a great overview of the school. Interview bits and ikmages that show Tufts to be a dynamic university emphasizing training for future leaders who will have an impact on the world,
