Does anyone know the minimum requirements RPI has to keep one's admission from getting revoked? Will, say, a D in one or two second-semester classes affect one's decision status?

I know that in order to be academically dismissed from RPI (once you are already attending classes here), you need to fail 3 classes in a given semester or fall below a minimum GPA (usually below 1.6-1.9) for 2 semesters in a row.

Your situation may land you on academic probation when you arrive, but I don't know for sure what gets someone's offer revoked because the admissions office may have different standards with regards to high school grades.

Thanks! This isn't actually for me, but for a friend. (I'm going to Wellesley :D)
