I had a question about how applicants are evaluated for U of T. I’ve read that the average of your 6 best courses are taken and this is what is used to evaluate your grades. Is this true? If so, does this apply for solely Canadian applicants, or does it apply to US and other international applicants as well?
The top 6 grades are how Ontario applicants are evaluated for the Faculty of Arts and Science. The Faculty of Engineering and Rotman use additional criteria. US and other international applicants are evaluated differently. You can find the criteria for your country, if it’s not Canada at https://future.utoronto.ca/international
SAT/ACT/AP/SATII scores are helpful for applicants from any country, including Canada.
