First off, I'd like to offer some comfort to people worrying about getting in. I had a 2280 SAT, got my share of B's in high school, was only in a few clubs and had practically no community service. And I got accepted Early Action. I'm convinced they accepted me based on my recs and essays, which showed that I belonged in the environment UChicago tries to create. If you belong at UChic, you'll get in. Even if your stats aren't "spectacular."

That said, since being accepted, I've been slipping, and not gonna lie- it's been pretty fun. But there's a good chance I'll be getting C's in both AP Bio and AP Spanish for the second semester, and that might bring my year-end grade in those classes to a C as well. My other grades will be A's and a couple of B's at most. I'm not freaking out or anything, but it's just been crossing my mind more than I'm comfortable with lately. Is there any possibility that Chicago would rescind me for 2 C's in AP courses?

I really feel like I belong here and the only thing I can think of more painful than not getting in would be getting in and then not going. Ya, that'd suck. Single man seeking reassurement.
