I did very poorly on a few tests this year in AP Statistics, and I had to settle for a C in the course. This shouldn't get my admissions revoked, should it? My other grades are two 3's in Shakespeare, AP Gov, and AP Euro, 2 B's in English and French, and one A- in Chamber Orchestra.

Senioritis is a sin. I just want to make sure my admissions is still safe, and I am scared to call the school.

But I was a straight A last semester…3.8 GPA overall, but this will drop to roughly a 3.75. Not a big drop at all, but that C is quite the bummer. I’m just really worried…

I’m 99% positive, I think you would be more likely to be rescinded for getting in trouble with the law not grades. Like if you were involved in GTA or something.

Oh my God! You got a C in AP Statistics! How dare you! FBI will arrive at your house in no time, arrest you and put you in a maximum security prison for your shameful crime!

Give me a break. There are way too many threads about “Will I get rescinded? Oh Noes!” The only reason I can find is that students are a bit insecure about their grades, so they post a thread about it. Then the other posters are guaranteed to tell them that no, their grades are fine, and there’s no need to worry. The student then becomes more secure.
