UCB does not directly admit to L&S CS. Admission will be to L&S, which should be similar to overall admission stats for frosh.
After enrollment in L&S, students need to earn a 3.3 GPA in the three prerequisite CS courses to declare the L&S CS major. About half of the students in those courses earn B+ or higher grades.
Transfers are considered by major, but still need to complete the prerequisites with a 3.3 GPA after enrollment. https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major can help you if you will be a transfer applicant.
