My daughter got an email inviting her to an admitted student day but was deferred early action. Anyone else? Maybe a mistake? There's a confirm your enrollment link too.

The exact same thing happened. I was deferred EA as well.

I’d call the school.

I just posted this in the RD thread. My daughter received this as well. She was deferred EA as well. So far we are up to three deferred EA recipients.

A sign or a big mistake?

Hmmm…and my other daughter (also deferred EA) didn’t get this email. Case closed early due to the weather today so we can’t call. Maybe we’ll get clarification tomorrow.

My son was deferred EA and received the same email today. I thought it was an odd way to notify, but perhaps it was a mistake.

I was deferred EA and did not receive an email.

I received that email as well and was deferred as an early action student.
I am planning on calling them to clarify tomorrow or so

My daughter was also deferred EA and also received the following e-mail.

“Each of Case Western Reserve University’s admitted student programs this spring will allow you to meet with faculty and students, sit in on classes, tour campus and University Circle, and eat in the dining halls. Select events also offer prospective students . . .”

???

@sen14rgirl Have u called them and got any response? I got the admitted student open house email also. No acceptance yet!

Yes @YammyNug , they said that it was a mistake and we will find out on March 15th as said by the email.

Thx! Good luck to u on 15th :))

Well did this prove to be a sign? or a mistake?

My daughter did get accepted. So for us it was a sign.

My son was accepted as well, so it was a sign for us too!

Both of mine were waitlisted; one got the email, one did not. Congratulations to those that were accepted!

Yes, I did get the email as well and was accepted!
