<p>Hey, I sent in my deposit and have since gotten a few small letters (including the cute pop up map) but I haven’t received an all inclusive sort of admitted students packet. Most of my friends who are going to universities have received something like that containing information about housing and other general freshman information but nothing for me.</p>
<p>Have any of you other admitted students gotten anything like this or know when we should be expecting it?</p>
<p>I was kind of wondering the same thing. My question was if we are going to get any sort of confirmation of orientation and directions and what time to show up and stuff. </p>
<p>But to answer yours, most of the stuff is online. Like... to accept your fin aid package, send in your housing forms, sign up for orientation...stuff like that... you can do online. go to <a href="http://www.bu.edu/studentlink%5B/url%5D">www.bu.edu/studentlink</a> and log on with your password and stuff, and if you havent set that up you can do <a href="http://www.bu.edu/applicantlink%5B/url%5D">www.bu.edu/applicantlink</a> and do it there.</p>
<p>Yeah, I've set all of that up and registered for an orientation, which just adds to my wondering why I hadn't received much by mail.</p>
<p>BU, unlike other universities does most of the admissions processing online. for example, from USC, i received housing forms, forms to accept my finaid and some booklets on housing. but for BU, evrything's online. the housing form is to be sent online, finaid is to be accepted online and all the information on housing that you may require is given at bu.edu/housing. that's the reason why we haven't rexceived much in the admission packet.</p>
<p>Easier on-line since I don't have to worry about messing up or losing the forms.

<p>Online is kinda a pain though... like when you realize that you were sent the housing form weeks ago but you deleted it by accident and now you have to fill it out on the last day possible... not that that happened to me or anything. Sigh... I'm gonig to end up in a cardboard box in the middle of kenmore square.</p>
