congratulations on all woh have been admitted, thats HUGE! i dont go to princeton university, haha i could never get in....but i live 10 minutes away from princeton and i go there every weekend to hang out. i just thought i'd let u know of some of the places everyone goes to, to get u excited and what not. first off, princeton has AMAZING food!!! the best place is Chucks Cafe--look for it, its a tiny little place, deeefinitely not fancy, but they have AMAZING buffalo wings! get a plate of 21 and split it w/ a friend and your life will change. Chucks is on Spring Street. Teresa's is a great Italian place, a very nice restaurant. Its close to the Banana Republic. everything im telling u about is basically in palmer square. speaking of, princeton has amazing shopping. yea, its all expensive, but u can find awesome sales sometimes. theres a banana republic, huge JCrew, ann taylor, nine west, Zoe's, Zoe's shoes, foot locker, Rouge-makeup and clothing boutique on Witherspoon STreet, a really cute jewelry store called Dandelion, aerosoles, Coach, Blue Mercury (makeup store), Polo, Smith Brothers and a heck of a lot of cute but really expensive boutiques. And if you ever need CD's, go to Princeton Record Exchange--ask anyone, they'll know where it is--you can get CDs for so much cheaper there. Other places to eat--J.P. Winberie's! i love that place. its got everything, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, salads, awesome place to go w/ friends and fam. there's also Mediterra, a really fancy restaurant in palmer square. outside of it is a fountain w/ benches, we always sit there when we get ice cream. Ice cream--Halo Pub is the classic, old school ice cream place. therse also thomas sweets but i dont like that place as much. a new place is The Bent Spoon, its kind of expensive for ice cream though. thats about it for now, enjoy!

Ahhhhh, what about Hoagie Haven!?! ;)

You forgot the world's best pizza place: Old World Pizza. Oh man I just can't wait!!

Yeah, you left out Hoagie Haven !!! But your description of Ptown is amazing... Thanks for getting us all whooped up about it :p - can't wait!

Question: where can you get your hair done, at a reasonable price. Are you a college or high school student? Must be fun to hang out at Princeton every weekend...

It warms my heart to hear that P-town has an ice cream shop. Society lacks good ice cream shops these days. I believe I shall be frequenting this Halo Pub place often...

Please tell me there is a Wendy's nearby.
Please.

I haven't eaten there in 4 years. I miss those square patties.....

Wendy's served me what looked like terds on a bun this past November. I've never eaten there since, nor will I ever again...

Even if Wendy's serves "terds on a bun," it's about ten times better than Burger King, which is the only place over here for burgers.

The thought of another Whopper value meal makes me throw up a little inside my mouth.

Let me have my nostalgic memories of a square triple cheeseburger, will ya? :p

Ooh, also, is there a White Castle nearby? Because I get these cravings, see...

Also, is there a good place to go to get cheap used books? Here in the Midwest we have Half Price Books, but I don't think they have them out east... and I also just really love independent book stores. What are some good ones?

Hey! Totally cool hangout! Wait I'm not an ED acceptee :(

Don't worry, you'll get in.

Think happy thoughts. :p

I really do hope so... after this difficult year (academics, father dying, etc), I need some kind of break!

Yeah, no sweat legend. We're all rooting for ya :)

And BK owns all. No dissage necessary.

Sorry to say, but BK sucks man. I'll take this outside if need be :p

haha. That's not necessary. I feel no need to defend my beloved BK simply because its awesomeness is no hypothesis. It's not even theory. It is law, my friend: The Law of Universal Good Taste and Hunger Appeasement. And we all know we can't argue with science ;)

Well, this scientific survey has Wendy's spanking BK :)
http://www.jdpa.com/news/releases/pressrelease.asp?ID=2004090

Can't argue with science can we?

BTW: What the heck is Papa Murphy's Take N' Bake Pizza? That thing is killing everyone.

Then I guess Wendy's decided to just skip this region of the country when trying to make its service/food good. 'cause BK definitely owns in this state more than Wendy's. But it doesn't matter 'cause we're not supposed to be eating fast food anyways :p I'd take Red Lobster (near the top) over any of the others any day of the week.

Ah. Texas food.

Taco Bueno.
Golden Corral.
Grandy's.
Whataburger.
Sonic.

ahhhhh

Anyone else heard of Ninfa's? 'cause that restaurant rocks (it is the restaurant of choice for my group of friends and me) and I'm really going to miss it when I leave here :(

Schwaby - im pretty sure sonic and whataburger are only in the west =/ we have them here hehe
